About Radiesse®:
- Formerly Radiance
- Reduces appearance of wrinkles & skin folds around mouth & nose and fills certain scars
- Made of biocompatible, non-toxic, non-allergenic filler
- Typically used in patients 35-60 years old
- Can provide up to 80% improvement within one week after treatment
Procedure:
- Most often performed with local anesthesia. Antiseptic is also applied
- Filler is injected beneath the skin to the treatment area(s)
- Procedure is performed by one of Personique's board certified plastic surgeons
- Entire procedure takes about 15 minutes after initial consultation
Recovery:
- Patients can resume normal activity right away; however, patients are advised to stay out of the sun
- May be minimal swelling/bruising for up to 36 hours after treatment
